Out-baked by the talented but mysteriously vanished Ophelia Dupont-Cassé, flunking Patsy Patate needs to write a marvellous ode to patisseries in order to regain her place at the Atelier Royale, but finds herself embroiled in a duel between a Tolstoy-loving frogman and the poetic Mock Ness Monster, prowler of the Seine, lover of macarons, and, incidentally, a great detective.
